Providing excellent international experiences has been a cornerstone of the Grinnell experience, and at the center of this for the last 50 years has been the Grinnell-in-London (GIL) program. Since the 1974-75 academic year, over 1,000 students have participated in GIL, which offers an immersive academic and cultural experience in one of the world’s most vibrant cities.

Kevin and his wife Melinda Lopes ’85, are offering a $1-for-$1 match, up to $50,000. For every $1 given to the Grinnell-in-London Fund, they will give an extra $1 to the newly created Lopes Rhodes Endowed Grinnell-in-London Scholarship. This generous opportunity doubles the impact of every gift, ensuring that more students can benefit from the Grinnell-in-London experience for years to come. *$48,500 is the goal for Scarlet & Give Back Day, due to earlier donations received prior Scarlet & Give Back Day!
