Why support the Pioneer Fund?

Pioneer Fund gifts play a vital role in addressing the greatest needs of our community and provide for critical experiences that cannot be met by the endowment alone. For example, 92 students received funding for internships, 120 students received laptops from the laptop loan program, and over 200 students received funding for study abroad experiences. Pioneer Fund gifts empower us to make nimble decisions that transform the educational landscape for students, faculty, and all involved in the Grinnell experience.
