To establish a matching or challenge gift, under Challenges & Matching Gifts, click "Offer a Matching Gift" or "Offer a Challenge Gift." Our community is already stepping up in incredible ways! See below for featured matching gifts leading the charge.

✔️MATCH MET! ☀️Your Gift Can Go Twice as Far: In the lead‑up to Scarlet & Give Back Day, Tommy Erdei ’95 has stepped forward with a $1‑for‑$1 matching gift—creating an opportunity to unlock additional support for Grinnell students. Donors may direct their own gifts to the area of their choice, while matching funds will be applied to the area Tommy has designated. Matching dollars are limited, making early participation especially impactful as we build momentum toward our $1 million goal.

☀️Amplify Your Gift: 1:1 Match for Pioneer Fund Tower Circle Donors: An anonymous member of the Class of 1983 is offering a $1 for $1 match for all Pioneer Fund gifts between $5,000 and $9,999 (Tower Circle) up to $50,000

✔️CHALLENGE MET! 🎶Help unlock a $25,000 gift for the Grinnell Singers! Thanks to the generosity of Pamela Dryden Rogacki ’64, when 80 donors give to support this beloved ensemble, $25,000 will be unlocked for the Grinnell Singers. Your gift — of any size — helps us hit the high note!

✔️CHALLENGE MET! ☀️Parents of students and alumni - Be a Part of Unlocking $80,000 for Grinnell: If 650 parents of current students and/or alumni make a gift, members of the Parents and Families Leadership Council will contribute $80,000 to the College.

✔️CHALLENGE MET! ☀️Faculty and Staff: This Scarlet & Give Back Day, faculty and staff can help make Grinnell shine more brightly through collective support for students. When 250 faculty and staff members make a gift, President Anne F. Harris and her husband, Michael Mackenzie, will contribute $10,000 to student wellness, amplifying the impact of our collective generosity.

✔️CHALLENGE MET! ☀️Expand Opportunity: Scholarships & Financial Aid Challenge: When 225 donors make a gift to scholarships and financial aid, Robert ’54 and Mae Uchida will unlock an additional $50,000 to support Grinnell students.

✔️CHALLENGE MET! ☀️50 State + D.C. Challenge: Help us light up the map! When supporters from all 50 states + D.C. join in, $100,000 from the Cabin Foundation will be unlocked for the Pioneer Fund. Whether you’re an alum, parent, or friend, your gift helps Grinnell shine coast to coast. Let’s do this, Grinnellians!

🌎100 Asian Alumni. One Shared Grinnell Story: Growing support from Grinnell’s globally connected alumni community helps secure the College’s future. It is an opportunity to honor an institution that gave us so much, while strengthening relationships that will sustain Grinnell for generations to come. A gift in support of what you hold dear ensures that today’s students—and those who follow—continue to benefit from the experiences that define a Grinnell education. When 100 alumni living in Asia make a gift, Maggie Bian '09 will give $10,000 in memory of beloved Professor Andrew Hsieh.
